Run really well in the dirt and in the grass like I hoped. It is really quick and has decent controller. My only complaint is that when I push reverse it doesn't always go. I have to hit it a few times and then it finally goes. But not a lot of compaints for something that cost $60. Great car!

Wow - So far love this little item. I bought it for my 6yo son but I play with it more than he does. It's fast, agile, runs through light grass, handles straight jumps well with the rubberized tires. the included Li-ion battery pack is a 3 cell sealed pack and recharges in about 4 hours (first time 8 hours) with the included trickle charger. run time is apx 10-15minutes depending on how often you are at top speed. the trim control knob on the remote adjust the steering as mine was a little to left most times. easy fix. one thing I did notice is that when doing left turns the wheel would "stick" and I'd have to steer right to get it out. the right turn would return normally. Design wise it's pretty nice. has sealed electronic speed control, brushed motor ( not sealed), and the S912 has metal dogbones in the rear 2WD setup (whereas the S911 I believe did not). the remote takes 2 AA batteries with easily come off with the small included screwdriver. I've run it on our driveway and local street/culdesac after a rain and electronics were fine. took it to the playground where a hugh pile of mulch was sitting ( paydirt!) and kept trying to find the right able to scale it. the smaller angles with went up, the steeper angles it got stuck but the tire treads are not that deep so no worries. reversed it out just fine. the on/off switch is hard to get to so I took a drill and made a nice hole just above it so I can use a small screwdriver or bobby pin to switch it on/off. Pros: -ready to run in box with everything (not like my old Tamiya Blackfoot from 1987..wow) -fast ( not sure it's 33mph as on box but it's fast enough). --> will test later with app to find max speed -decent remote with proportional steering and speed control -tackles light water and light grass ok. Cons: - battery gets HOT - recommend remove after every run, let cool down about 30min, then recharge. this will lengthen battery life ( do not leave attached inside vehicle) extra battery pack would be nice. - on/off switch is hard to get to - must remove pins and the shell and the plastic cage - sticks a little when turning full left -looked like "rust" spots on chassis when received but has no effect on performance. ( is it refurbished?) overall great buy at great price. I wish I had gotten it free or at discount but rather I bought it normally at full price so have no bias review. would love to review more later so let me know what I can do. Looking into getting a bigger rc truck now...
