Yes, it is still linked to your device. You can move the socket it is plugged into, and even switch what item you have plugged in (assuming it is a simple on/off manual button operated item) and it will follow your command from Siri or your phone button being pressed. No need to reset anything. The only time you need to do a reset is when you want to switch the hub/originating programming device. Please let me know that this makes sense, or if you have any other questions. :) see less

I went with several other brands that were supposed to be work with Home Kit and this is the first one that generally reliably works. Set up and installation is slow and required several tries. At one point I accepted a prompt that wiped out all of my existing home kit settings which I could not undo so spent hours setting everything back up. But all is working now, except occasionally it will say the device is not responding. Try again later and it usually works. Lutron is the gold standard for me, but they do not make a production like this unfortunately. And this does work which is more than I can say for the others I tried.

We purchased this socket from Koogeek and controlled the floor lamp via a smartphone. We also want to test the future Smarthome and buy a socket that can be controlled by a smartphone. With HomeKit being relatively easy to connect to the outlet, we started using SmartHome for some initial experience. We currently have a floor lamp connected to the outlet. I also found an interesting feature that sees the power consumption of the connected consumer. The hardware works very well, the installation is simple and fast, completely autonomous, because it connects to WiFi. Thanks to HomeKit and Siri, you can turn it off and open it with sound, which is very convenient.

I have a light in my living room and in order to turn it on I always have to step on a button on the cord and it’s really hard to get to because it’s behind the tv stand, so this little contraption has made turning on the light a million times more convenient. It’s super cool and the app is not too shabby. And my two young kids love that I can turn the light on with my voice now...magic mommy :-). The only things that I would improve our to have the temperature display in Fahrenheit as well as Celsius and also to have this work on a 5G network not just 2.4ghz. I have both types of wireless this is not a big deal for me but definitely something to consider if you only have 5 GHz.
