Bought 2 “G-raphy Professional Portable Aluminum Alloy Tripod” here only for $19 each last year. Unfortunately the second one openned later on found the monopod came with the top section missing internal washers and lock led to the entire tripod unusable, as it had been 1 month passed unreturnable. Figured out this monopod could be a replacement for the defected leg. Spent another $19 to make it work.

After a long day at London Zoo earlier this year using a full frame dslr, battery grip and fairly weighty 70-200mm 2.8 lens, I toyed with the idea of getting a monopod but didn't want to spend a lot in case I don't use it that much. Having taken delivery, I confirm that, as other reviewers have said, it feels very light but well made (for the price). I'm hoping to take it out for a test run in the next couple of days to see if it works as good as it looks but so far it's survived some reasonably heavy 'leaning' tests by yours truly. I will update this review after I've taken out into the wild but early impressions are good.

lovely monopod best I have seen and I have looked in many camera shops before going for this one. taller than expected and it comes with a carrying bag as well which was a surprise. the screw at the top may seem too big for your camera or lense but it can be unscrewed turned upside down and screwed back in which gives you a different size thread so no thread adaptor required.

I'm very pleased the reviews for this product were accurate. It's stunning! Seems to be very high quality and ridiculously light! (306g on my scales). Very happy with this purchase. In fact, I'm so happy with it I'm ordering another one right now (before the price goes up or before people cotton onto how much of a bargain this is!!) I was looking for a good monopod, fluid head and monopod stand combination. There are plenty out there but I wasn't happy with any of them so decided to buy separates and build my own. So glad I did now. Yes, it works out more expensive but it's worth it. You know, every now and then you buy something that genuinely puts a smile on your face when it surpasses your expectations. This monopod did just that.

Good MonoPod. Only need it to hold a very small camera on certain shoots so works very well free standing. Not sure I would fully trust it with my full DSLR freestanding, but works well just to give you a solid base for either long exposure photography or when shooting video but need something more stable than hand held. Overall would recommend and also comes with a handy bag.
