After a long day at London Zoo earlier this year using a full frame dslr, battery grip and fairly weighty 70-200mm 2.8 lens, I toyed with the idea of getting a monopod but didn't want to spend a lot in case I don't use it that much. Having taken delivery, I confirm that, as other reviewers have said, it feels very light but well made (for the price). I'm hoping to take it out for a test run in the next couple of days to see if it works as good as it looks but so far it's survived some reasonably heavy 'leaning' tests by yours truly. I will update this review after I've taken out into the wild but early impressions are good.

I'm very pleased the reviews for this product were accurate. It's stunning! Seems to be very high quality and ridiculously light! (306g on my scales). Very happy with this purchase. In fact, I'm so happy with it I'm ordering another one right now (before the price goes up or before people cotton onto how much of a bargain this is!!) I was looking for a good monopod, fluid head and monopod stand combination. There are plenty out there but I wasn't happy with any of them so decided to buy separates and build my own. So glad I did now. Yes, it works out more expensive but it's worth it. You know, every now and then you buy something that genuinely puts a smile on your face when it surpasses your expectations. This monopod did just that.

Since I started to learn photography, I really need a tripod in order to be able to take a pictures in slow speed settings. I searched around and this tripod seems good and fits my budget. I am more than happy with this tripod since it has a great quality, it made from aluminum alloy which is very lightweight but strong and durable. It can hold my DSLR camera steady without any issue or shaking. I can even set it up on rocky surface and it still hold my camera perfectly. Also it has a foam leg which prevent it from sliding on slippery surface, as well as the hand strip for comfortable carry. I highly recommend this tripod for anyone who likes photography and want a tripod with reasonable price but still good quality.

Beautifully made monopod using tubular sections locked with a twist collar. None of the faffing about with stickiy outy lever clips that snag on everything and eventually break through plastic fatigue. This item comes from China and arrived a week before the advised date. Great. I am not a great user of monopods but bought this for my Keymission 360 panoramic camera for which it works a treat having a small visible footprint in shot. I would not trust the small feet to support a DSLR without me being there to grip it tightly. I am a bit nervous even when the small Keymission is on it and a small breeze wafts by. Excellent. Highly recommended.

Well made, top quality construction, easily comes apart for cleaning, I use white Lithium 3-1 to grease the threads. Very stable Carbon Fibre, would be happy to use it with my DSLR camera, currently using 360 camera and an extension. The top screw is reversible, so you have the option of either 1/4 and 3/8inch. Base tripod is nice and sturdy can be adjusted to radius of 15dgrees leaning out if required. No instructions provided but easy enough to work out, best value for quality, very happy!

Good MonoPod. Only need it to hold a very small camera on certain shoots so works very well free standing. Not sure I would fully trust it with my full DSLR freestanding, but works well just to give you a solid base for either long exposure photography or when shooting video but need something more stable than hand held. Overall would recommend and also comes with a handy bag.

This is a very well made monopod. It flexes quite a lot but that's not because it is badly made, it's because it's so unbelievably light. With the platform and strap removed it weighs just over 1/2lb. There's a 3/8" female thread in both ends for attaching heads, clamps, spikes etc. You will not fully appreciate it's tiny size and weight until you get it in your hand, despite this it is fully usable with a dslr and telephoto lens.

Very very light weight!! Strong and great build quality, better then I was expecting for around £30. If I'd seen this in a shop for £90 I would have thought it was about the right price. It holds my nikon D7100 (with battery grip) & 150-600mm Tamron lens with no problems at all. I connect the monopod to the Tamron lens mount, so all the weight is on the monopod and feels sturdy and secure. I will be buying another for my dad, really impressed

First impressions are great. It feels solid and stable with approx. 1kg load I tested it with so far. The great thing about this 6 section monopod is that it folds resonably short and just fits my sling bag. Another feature I like is that you can use monopod feet after srewing out the bottom 'heel'. I think it is going to work great for me. Will update after more throughout use with higher load but so far so good.
