Yeah so it seems to be working, and of course , at this price point,the quality is questionable. On a certai, you just have to ask yourself, self, would you rather not have a monitor at all, or one that you can afford that works? The answer is obvious grasshopper, the one you can afford that works. So my advice is be careful with it and it should serve a purpose for the short-term anyway. But when and if you have the opportunity consider replacing it with something a little more Muy Macho!

At this price point, I doubt that you'll find a better monitor. It's a little hinky in a couple of ways. When I am daisy-chaining monitors together it has to be the last monitor in the chain. Other monitors don't recognize its output signal. Also, the menus are difficult to use since you go back and forth between menu and arrows. However, I would still buy it again because it's so inexpensive and super light weight.

Good: Affordable Supports 4k signal The 1920X1200 screen is pretty sharp Color accuracy is good A lot of assist features HDMI Passthrough Supports AC and DC power (however there is no power cable included) Supports Sony and Canon batteries Customizable function button (There is only 1 though) Neutral -Made of hard plastic. I personally don't mind this as it is light. Using a more durable material would be nice but because this is a monitor, you'd still handle a more durable unit with the same care because of the screen. -Latency - Definitely not the worst i've seen but it is present. However even more expensive monitors have lag. Bad You will need to remove the battery after use. There is a power "button" but the monitor still draws power when it is off. Overall: You get a lot for the price. Definitely worth checking out

I love this monitor, it works well with My dslr. I wasn’t aware that it didn’t come with a battery and it actually runs off a camera battery, that wasn’t compatible with my newer canon dslr, that I had to go out and buy separate. But that’s my fault for not reading thefine print. Other than that it is awesome

I read that the problem with the field monitors was the compatibility with HDMI 2.0 with my BMPCC4K, but it works perfectly in all the resolutions that the camera works with. The colors are very accurate, it displays a lot of useful information about the video other than that displayed by the camera, it has good protection against shocks and comes with the option to use it with Sony F970 or Canon LP-E6 batteries, which last a long time. The only thing I do not like is the brightness of 500cd/㎡ of the screen under the sun, but it comes with a foldable sunshade which helps a lot for this kind of use. It really is a professional purchase at a low cost and it is a device that you should have as support for any video camera.

This is a good monitor for the price. I do a lot of video photography and it has held up very well. The features are easy to use and the picture resolution is certainly not bad for the cost. The collapsible hood arrived cracked upon delivery, but the vendor quickly acted upon sending a replacement all the way from China. They were very helpful, pleasant and courteous people. The new hood arrived in a shorter time than expected. Therefore, I awarded them 5 stars for the product and excellence in customer service.
