Great clamp mount, spring is quite strong and can hold onto vertical planes as per the picture with little chance of sliding down, there is a cloth sleave and rubbery foam grips to avoid damaging the clamped surfaces. Flexible rod is quite stiff and needs 2 hands to bend into shape without moving the mount, but this means that the mount can hold a bigger camera than a GoPro with ease. I mounted a FujiFilm FinePix XP60 and the mount and position stayed put nicely. The flexible rod is very long and so can be very versatile, but the stiffness does mean that it can be tricky to bend it back on it's self in a tight spot.

Exactly as I expected, as I wanted a long flexible arm (most such flxibles seem to be 1/2 to 2/3 the length of this one). Well made and supplied with the usual form of slide-in GoPro mount. The "downside" of such a length is that it is not as steady as a shorter support, but this is just a matter of the laws of momentum not the quality of this item! If used on a static support and out of strong air currents even that is not important. Worth its price.

It comes with the clip and screw and the goose-neck and clamp. The goose-neck and clamp are already attached. I have a HERO4 silver edition and it works great with that but don't see why it wouldn't work with any other action cam that uses the same kind of clip. The clamp opens to a maximum of about 7cm (moreso if you squeeze it further but open too wide and it won't clamp on properly right?) but the two pads will remain open parallel at about 3cm wide. The goose neck is about 67cm long, excluding the pivot-head and clamp. The camera can pivot around the head of the goose-neck and be tightened so it doesn't move. I don't know why they have the colored fabric on the clamp.. decoration maybe?? The goose-neck is NOT flimsy; it will retain the shape you bend it to. It took a few weeks to arrive but you expect that with cheap overseas shipping so no surprises there.
