How do you remove the mount? Will it leave a mark?

  • This base uses an adhesive pad to mount the bottom receiver which is not mentioned to be removed. I believe unless you have an alternative adhesive pad it can not be removed without leaving marks. Alternatives would be removed the pad residue with a solvent that you pre-test not to effect the mounting surface, use an a… see more This base uses an adhesive pad to mount the bottom receiver which is not mentioned to be removed. Alternatives would be removed the pad residue with a solvent that you pre-test not to effect the mounting surface, use an alternative adhesive pad like a "commond" pad sold for removeable hooks(these are usually available where command hooks are sold), or be very careful removing the base, which has a low success.       Only thing I could find for my old gen Gear 360, other than the Samsung one, which is like $40 (not happening) I use this on my Motorcycle helmet and get great 360 shots of my rides. Great purchase. Great material.
