Simple to use, pretty much an egg timer mechanism (loud bell included!) that ticks away quietly until the time is up. Some people have reported that this can be used with DSLR's which for me was not the case. The camera is simply too heavy for the mechanism, but if you have a beginner's SLR or bridge camera, it may work.

Great with GoPro HERO4. All we need are some nice transition shots of a few second or more for a GoPro motorcycle ride video. Arizona has some of the worlds greatest ride video destinations! From The Grand Canyon to Red Rock Sedona or the epic Superstition Mountains on the way to Tortilla Flat, Arizona ROCKS! This little baby fits nice in my saddle bag and needs no batteries! Mine is not "wobbly" at all (as some have reviewed). The bell does not bother me at all since I do not intend to leave it unattended. What we like to do is find a nice spot to take a break for lunch or dinner and shoot an awesome view while we take a break. BINGO instant transition! As for larger SLR cameras and such we have not tested nor do we intend such a test. So far so good with the GoPro. We love it. For the price a sturdy little bargain!

I got it 3 months ago and I have used it few times. It's nice to have some rotation on timelapses, it gives some new perspectives, and is really easy to use. There isn't really anything negative to be said about this product, it does what it's supposed to do. After fast forwarding the footage on After Effects I didn't see any problems with the rotation, it was quite smooth with the 120 minutes rotating version. I mostly did 90 degree rotations, so it takes 30 minutes. Below is also a picture of it with my tripod.
