Yes. It will work very well in that truck. You will end up buying a different pinion gear to get the speed you want, and because this motor shaft is larger than your factory one.

No, it has a bigger shaft. The stock traxxas shaft is 3mm and this one has a 5mm. Goolrc motors i think are great. the ESCs are i hit and miss. Some don't last very long, maybe like 5 to 10 uses.
