Don't know why these peeps said it doesn't because it has a charging port you can see in the pic and all my other Flysky Tx have the same port. You just need to get a wal wart charger with correct plug and put in rechargable batteries. i use a Futaba charger.

YES! It most definitely will. The X Maxx comes with the Traxxas TQI transmitter system that's quite advanced, however. Maybe something went wrong with it? The FLYSKY FS-GT3B will be a replacement, but it doesn't have the high end features of the bona fide transmitter/receiver system that comes with the X-Maxx RTR.

TRANSMITTER CAME NICELY PACKAGED,AND BRAND NEW,PLUS PRE-BOUND TO RECEIVER SO ALL I DID WAS CONNECT THE SERVO TO CHANNEL 1/CONNECT THE ESC TO CHANNEL 2/MY ROOF RACK LIGHT SETUP TO CHANNEL 3 & BOOM ALL SET THE FAIL-SAFE WAS EVEN CONNECTED,I HAD TO UPGRADE MY TRANSMITTER FROM STOCK AND MY BUDDY HAS THE FLYSKY GT3C AND THERE'S MAJOR POWER BUTTON ISSUES BC THE POWER BUTTON IS ON THE WHEEL PLUS I DON'T TRUST A SMALL LIPO-BATTERY IN MY HAND,YEAH THE FLYSKY TAKES8 BATTERIES BUT I JUST GOT 32 DURACELL BATTERIES ON SALE FOR $14.00,I'M A SCALE/TRAIL GUY SO I DON'T NEED 8 CHANNELS AND FOR $40.00 DELIVERED BRAND NEW PLUS PRE-BOUND AND I ONLY FOUND OUT BY READING THE MANUAL OF COURSE I WAS SKEPTICAL,BUT IT WAS PRE-BOUND,I ENDED UP ORDERING A RECEIVER THE SAME NIGHT AND THAT 1 IN HAD TO BIND.>>SERVO TO CHANNEL 1/ESC TO CHANNEL 2/BIND PLUG TO CHANNEL 3/SELECT MODEL OF CRAWLER TO TRANSMITTER/POWER ON ESC/HOLD BIND SILVER BUTTON DOWN,TURN ON TRANSMITTER/BOOM ALL SET MAKE SURE YOU SETUP FAILSAFE,THAT'S EASY TO,JUST HOLD BUTTON DOWN,YOU'LL SEE A DOUBLE BLINK,BUTTON HOLE BESIDES LED LIGHT UP TOP!>>ANYONE WITH THE HOBBYWING 1080-WP ESC,NEEDS THIS FLYSKY GT-3B,IT'LL MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE ESPECIALLY USING THE PROGRAM CARD ON ESC AND FOR REDCAT GEN 8 SCOUT II GUYS,JUST MAKES THE STEERING AND OVERALL CRAWLER THAT MUCH BETTER!

Looks great, works great, and the receiver is tiny but effective. Would have given it 5 stars but the instructions are not great. Had to look it up on you tube to figure out how to reverse the functions on ch. 2. For $35 it's a great value, and looks like it cost 5 x's that.

Got this to run more then on rc car on . My order came in on time and this thing is sweet . Extra receivers I ordered didnt come in from diffrent company so I'm only using this on one rc right now but works no problem at all . Best one I have and big upgrade from factory ones that come with rtr .

I'm having a issue and I also posted in the comments section but couldn't text enough there. So I want to say I'm building a Tamiya tt-02 and I have a 4300kv brushless motor with with esc. I already replaced the first one for another. I'm getting no power to the reciever. No light or anything. Once turned on the fan twitches quick an that is all. No other response. Please help. Do I replace this for another? I was recommended this remote and all I want to do is finish this car. I'm so close
