No, It may take a little sprinkle of rain but I wouldn't get it wet.

It should work as long as it has the same connectors.

The transmitter comes with a receiver. Steering servo in ch 1, speed control in ch2. Btw, this radio is NOT compatible with FlySky's other receivers, like the ones that come with the original GT2 and the GT3C. But it is compatible with High Voltage BECs and servos.

I just looked up on the CD that was provided with this 2 channel radio and it does have a failsafe. I have been using this radio for my Axial Jeep Rock Crawler and it works really well.

Yes. Thats exactly why there is a BEC on the ESC, so you dont need a 6V battery for the receiver.

It should I use it in my boats

I don't know the actual range in feet of this transmitter. I use this on my Rock Crawler and I have tested it at 500 feet easily and it works very well. But you should be able to get more than that. I also just looked up in the manual to see if it tells the range, but it is not listed.

I suggest you use your right hand for the trigger, turn the control sideways and operate the direction control with your left hand.

I was using a Futaba 3 ch on a Rovan 35cc 1/5 scale with rpm suspension and a Integy full steel roll cage, a 2 speed tranny. I had noise glitches from the motor. i tried my three ch Airtronics. same problem. I tried a noise suppressor on the plug no help. I finally grabbed my Fly-sky TX FS-GT3B. I did a harmonic increase on the rx antenna and used hard wire .I bent it slightly forward. no glitches. My first run was just at 73 mph real time and the front wheels became unstable from lift. I put a spoiler on the front of the car, put total slicks on it and I hit 90 mph. I could not do the same mod on the Futaba or Airtronics. I wouldn't install one of these types radio in a 40 foot long 747 with real turbines. But any rc unit up to 1500 dollars i wouldn't hesitate using a fly-sky or any of their counterparts out there.
