Resistors always will be the same value under any voltage. It depends on the device that you will use and how much current you want to drain. But do not worry, 1 ohm is 1 ohm anywhere at any voltage.

Yes they do -- at least with mine they did! Talk about a time-saver!

It didn't have 6.8K resistors.

It is the standard color code. It does have 5 bands instead of 4 which is what I was used to in the 80's when I first started learning electronics. If you throw the battery hard enough it should destroy one, so yes. If you are trying to burn one up then its easy to calculate. 4 alkaline AA wil add up to about 6 volts. V=I*R and Power = I*V so Power = V*V/R. These are 1/4 Watt so 1/4=6*6/R, solve for r, R = 144. Bands are resistance values, multipliers and accuracy percentages. Google resistor color codes for a complete breakdown

I purchased these resistors a while ago to use them for breadboarding with my Raspberry Pi and Arduino. For that purpose, I don't think you can beat the price and quantity of resistors you get here. But, as other reviewers have noted, they will not work well in embedded or finished products because of their flimsiness. I would recommend using these for testing purposes only, or simply if you just want to learn how to build circuits or use the GPIO of Raspberry Pis and Arduinos. They came packaged in a plastic bag in an unorganized big stack, and I immediately put them in ziploc bags for each resistance. Pros: Cheap You get A LOT of resistors (these will last you a long time) Labeled for their rating Very accurate (I tested about a 1% tolerance) Cons: Slightly disorganized (although you could fix this with a few hours of time and some patience) Flimsy, only meant for testing These have been going strong for me over the past 6 months and I expect them to keep serving me into the future. If you fit into one of the categories I have outlined above, I would highly recommend pulling the trigger on these. Thanks!
