Resistors always will be the same value under any voltage. It depends on the device that you will use and how much current you want to drain. But do not worry, 1 ohm is 1 ohm anywhere at any voltage.

Yes they do -- at least with mine they did! Talk about a time-saver!

It didn't have 6.8K resistors.

It is the standard color code. It does have 5 bands instead of 4 which is what I was used to in the 80's when I first started learning electronics. So instead of a 3.3 meg being orange, orange green, it is orange orange black yellow. Or maybe it is something they do with 1% tolerance resistors versus 5 %. If you throw the battery hard enough it should destroy one, so yes. If you are trying to burn one up then its easy to calculate. 4 alkaline AA wil add up to about 6 volts. V=I*R and Power = I*V so Power = V*V/R. These are 1/4 Watt so 1/4=6*6/R, solve for r, R = 144. Bands are resistance values, multipliers and accuracy percentages. Google resistor color codes for a complete breakdown
