I purchased this to mount my Canon EF lenses to my LUMIX G7. So far I’m pretty happy with it. The build quality is pretty much all metal and seems solid. Autofocus, aperture control & EXIF all work fine. Autofocus is a bit sluggish, but that’s to be expected when adapting non-native glass to any system and not that big of a deal for stills. Definitely a great and cheaper alternative to Metabones. Image quality is good and fairly sharp at about f/2 and up, anything lower gets soft but they’re still reasonably exceptable. It mounts great to the G7 snuggly and lenses mount nicely too with out any issues.

I make movies for a living, and most of the money for those movies comes from my pocket. For those like me who are not big time Hollywood producers, this thing is essential to your indie film making. It allows you to use any Canon ef mount lens with non canon 4/3 cameras. This means you are not stuck with purchasing overpriced and often inferior lenses for your camera of choice. Much cheaper than a speed booster, with the same results. You need this,

gorgeous! fast delivery, unbeatable price, super goods. finally i can use my canon-objectives at the olympus om-d e-m10 mark ii. attention - with wide angle lenses there is a problem that sometimes you can't focus. a little trick helps - you can rotate the glass lens, then increase or decrease the distance to the objective or sensor and now you can focus.

For MFT photographers with Canon lenses, this obvious skeleton replica is a good thing. I have a 4.0 70-200 mm L lens on two MFT cameras. This results in 142 mm (factor 0.71) and a light intensity of 2.8, which corresponds to an image effect of 384 mm on KB. At the edge, it's easy to see CA in IrfanView if necessary, and after a short Photoshop visit, it's not that good. I am very satisfied. In particular, considering the moderate price compared to American bones... processing is also suitable, there are obvious games in Exif, real data (light intensity, lens, focal length, etc.). At f2.8, the sharpness impression is also very good. Ok, I have more details about the larger sensor...

I use the adapter on an Olympus E M 1 II and E PL 7. It works wonderfully with my Canon 50mm 1.8, 28mm 2.8 and 100-300mm 4.5-5.6 USM lenses. With the 100-300 you get continuously a light intensity of 1: 3.2 - so that has done for me the purchase of a 50-200mm from Panasonic. The adapter does not work on my E PL 2.

Very excited. Works well with Sigma 18-35mm f / 1.8. I have no problem with my own adapter s.der Lumix G81 (G85). The glass components are of very high quality and do not lose sharpness. The only downside I can find is the minimum vignetting in photo mode with an aspect ratio of 4:3. In video mode, UHD and FullHD are both 16:9 aspect ratios, and nothing to look at.

I have now bought the second adapter for my two Panasonic. Since the firmware update 3.1, the continuous autofocus also works on my Tamron 15-30 and the 24-70. The autofocus is less useful, as for example, the Canon. This is due to the autofocus of Panasonic. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable.
