I cannot fault this adapter. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of faults, but they're the same as all the other adapters, except for the much more expensive metabones. This is very well constructed, solid build, and there's no looseness when attaching either to the camera body, or the lens. I was very impressed by this, as I previously used a more expensive fotodiox, and there was some looseness. It works very well with ef lenses on my a7s, as long as you're not using auto-focus. It has internal light reflections like all the others, so I recommend you get some black velcro or other adhesive light absorbing paper, and glue it inside the adapter, it will solve this issue. All in all, very happy and impressed, as good if not better than some of other adapters costing 2 or 3 times more.

I received it yesterday and tried it last night with two lenses, my Canon 50 f1.4 and 60mm (macro) primes. Very hefty and solid piece of equipment (feels like it doubles the weight of the camera body when attached) it fit very snugly on both the body and lens ends. It does do a lot of searching in AF mode but that may have been the bad lighting conditions. I'm not expecting perfect speed or I'd just use the lens on my Canon 60D directly. I look forward to giving it a workout during daylight hours with a couple of the lenses. Really could solve the problem of switching from Canon to Sony and not having many Sony lenses yet. I’ve received this product for free in return for an honest review. I am very happy with this item and would recommend it. Thanks.

Works perfectly with my A7S, no lens connection issues, nothing. I have canon, Sigma and Tamron lenses, and I haven't had any problems. Build quality feels nice. This adapter has great value for the money. If it helps anyone, the lenses I have used with the Andoer/A7S are: Canon 17-55mm Canon 50mm f1.4 Canon 35mm f2 IS Tokina 11-16mm

Works very well with all my canon EF 28mm f1.8. so all in all pretty happy. Sure beets the £300 for the Metabones. Auto focus varies from lens to lens for some reason as yet not able to work out a reason, but that could just be me. If you have canon glass and want to buy a Sony, worry not just buy one of these and you are good to go. Ive tested all my lenses both in there field and the studio and Im happy to announce the adapter does its job, however I find best results are obtained from forgetting the auto focus and sticking to manual focus plus focus peaking which I think really delivers results, The difference between shots on the Sony A7R mk2 and those on my old Canon 5D mk2 are at least a country mile.

I have now used this adapter a number of times. It fits both my Sony A7S camera and my Canon EF lenses tightly, with no movement. This adapter is a "Andoer" and sold by a number of dealers at vastly varying prices, all considerably cheaper than the american standard equivalent quoted in all the photo reviews. As stated by most people who have used these adapters the auto focus is considerable slower than when using manufactures camera with their lenses, all the other controls work well through the connections. The meta data is also being recorded correctly. Construction appears robust and looks good. If it helps anyone, the lenses I have used with the Andoer/A7S are: Canon 17-55mm Canon 50mm f1.4 Canon 35mm f2 IS Tokina 11-16mm I received this item for free, but when what you get is exactly what you see in the picture, it's definitely worth..
