No ! I tried that and now it doesn't work anymore, it's too heavy for this unit

The Zifon remote only controls the movement of the unit. Not sure what brand of camcorder you have, but I purchased a Canon Vixia camcorder with wifi that allows me to remotely operate the camcorder with my cellphone. I use the remote wifi in combination with the Zifon unit to remotely pan and tilt.

Micro-USB port is to charge the unit, USB b "socket" can be used to power a device, such as a small camera. Use any USB 5v charger to charge yt-260 but note with model we have we could NOT operate yt-260 while charging.

Yes. There is a standard tripod mounting hole at the bottom of the unit.

This product works as described and is very usable in many situations. I find there is a lot of play in the vertical adjustment. Camera will jump about 10-15 degrees either up or down once past fulcrum of device. In short vertical movement shots may not yield desired results, especially if at limit of weight for camera/phone. I use this for hybrid Zoom meetings to move camera to the person speaking and it works great for my application and do not regret purchasing this product.

Is absolutely perfect for mounting my GoPro to - on top of my 10' tripod. I can make precise adjustment videoing my daughter's volleyball matches! Sure, it may not take a direct hit from a 50mph volleyball, but if I get one good club season of recruiting videos I'll be happy.

This is a good product at it's price point. It's important that you understand its limitations, and not set an expectation that you are NOT getting a professional pan/tilt head that can cost hundreds of US dollars more. In my case, I've used it with high tripod to film a ceremony on stage at a high school. In this case, the high tripod and this tilt head can be placed in a safe space, and with the remote control you can adjust the camera pan & tilt, and utilize the WIFI control on camcorder to record start/stop, and zoom, as needed. I was able to get an excellent filming of these type of event. For me at high zoom ratio, the pan/tilt head moved too quickly and doesn't have enough granular control of the tilt/pan speed through the remote control. This not the best, but it's understood, at this price point this pan/tilt head is more for making gross adjustments to keep your subject at or near the center of you camera/camcorder viewfinder. It's not a pan/tilt head for high zoom ratios, where you are trying to track action that might require the head move 90 degree or more (like a soccer game). In this case, you need to control the speed of the pan/tilt movement for which this device is very limited.
