I used bottles water. 2) don't use really cold water, and 3) drink it fast. Stick with it. The product worked really well for me. The taste is a little different, but after the first few cycles, it wasn't bad. see less

There is 95% H2 in the water, the cantainer does not rust. Since I have only been using it a short time I can't tell the health benefits yet, but the water is better. The quality of the machine is great. Steph

Bought this for my brother. Seeing the bubbles rise and the changing colors show is great. The hydrogen water really boosts feelings of well-being and makes drinking lots of water easy. However, the USB connection was weakened from frequent charging. Contact was shot; within 3 months.

This device has some weaknesses, but I think I can work around them to get this unit to last and produce a decent amount of H2. Here is my advice, if you want to use it: 1. Per the reviews, the power port is prone to failure. My solution: Keep the usb cord in to prevent wear and tear. Unplug the USB outlet adaptor (not included!) from the wall outlet when you have to move it and to turn it on. Sidenote: This device does not have a switch, plug it in and it goes for 6 minutes and shuts off. To get it to go again, unplug it (from the wall to save your USB ports) for 5 seconds and plug it back in. 2. Per the reviews, water can get into the USB port and kill it. So when you fill it, always have it tilted slightly with the USB port up. If it overflows a bit, it will go down the other side. 3. The lid has a huge, hollow space above the lip of the bottle. This is bad, and probably the reason some folks have measured very little H2 in the water. When the H2 bubbles up, it gets diluted in the huge airspace in the lid. I happened to have rubber sheets from another project and cut a round piece to fit in. If you can rig something like this up yourself, you will probably get a decent amount of H2. Still, a bad design to start with. In addition, to help get the H2 up as much as possible, you can run it multiple times. After 6 minutes, when the light goes out, unplug (from the wall outlet), wait 5 seconds, plug it back in. You can do this several times if you have nothing better to do! I use reverse osmosis water because I have an RO setup. It bubbles fine. About 1/3 of the gas formed is O2, so that will dilute the H2 as well. That is just the nature of hydrolysis, and why even with a perfect setup you will probably be under 1 ppm. You can get higher with other techniques, or spending a LOT of money for a hydrolysis system with a membrane between the electrodes that diverts the O2. The pyrex glass looks nice and thick, and the device does look cool.

Unit really needs instruction. You need a decent amount of minerals to get a lot of hydrogen to be produced. You definitely can't use salt or regular water as it produces the really toxic chlorine byproduct which can be smelt and tasted. Also annoying this one doesn't have a battery like all the others, so has to be plugged into the usb, and the other versions that is the same price and looks similar to this with the different cap do have the battery.

I have a bigger water ionizer/alkalinizer machine that supposedly producing -400 ORP on max setting, but it goes down to -270 lately. I'm thinking that it needs acid or hydrogen peroxide cleaning. So I'm waiting until it needs filter replacement. This unit helps the water from -270 ORP to -400. So I'm happy with the result. I clean this unit every week with white vinegar. It does leave some water mark after using for a while but that is very normal. It happens to my bigger machine too. Alkaline water is good but I value (-) ORP better, it is an antioxidant, you can tell that its good for the skin and overall body health. I do recommend it.

I was hesitant about buying this Hydrogen Water Bottle because it is made in China. The one thing though is that the generator is made in Japan, and just installed in China so it had changed my mind. I wanted a glass bottle (No plastic), and something that did not leak! This bottle filled all the requirements. It is thick and sturdy, easy to use and seems to keep the hydrogen water in the bottle even after you made it a while ago. I have used this for three weeks now, and no complaints at all. Buy the larger one (550ml). You wont find a better price/deal online...at least I did not!

I bought this a couple of months ago. It works well. I bought it as a BS test before investing in a water ionizer from Kangen. This worked well enough to prove the concept that ionized water is more than just talk. I could have just used this instead of investing in the other one, but there's just no information about how it works, what it does or how it compares to the Kangen machine. It did make me feel better. Improve digestion, improve energy levels, increase metabolism and worked well. But after proving the concept, I wanted the real McCoy that actually has some data and science behind it. Than Kangen machine works great too, but costs a whole lot more.

We were very pleased with this product. Although it came with very limited instructions (we did finally find the english portion.). It was very easy to use. We used tap water. I think this is recommended. Much of what we knew was from previous research. It is good quality product. I really wanted one in which the container portion was glass and this is glass. The glass is thick and so the whole item seems solid and fairly durable. Once plugged in, it goes through a series of colored lights that stop when the water is hydrogenated. This takes a little over 5 minutes. It says that you can use it for 7000 times, so for the price it is a very good deal.

Produces copious amounts of hydrogen bubbles. The concentrations of hydrogen claimed are not as high as the expensive units that cost thousands, but for the price it does a great job and produces lots of hydrogen bubbles. The water does taste of hydrogen and I appreciate that the container is made of glass not plastic.
