I'm a sometime runner (often on a TM) and fervent exerciser (strength training, yoga, pilates, swimming). I tried using a FitBit for a while and it was helpful in many ways but focusses more on step counts than workouts. I got this tracker because it has multiple functionalities INCLUDING the capability of setting up workouts and using them in the gym with tracking of reps, sets, timing etc. There was a learning curve with it; I don't find it always intuitive (do you press the key or double tap on the display to continue?). Once I had figured it out though, it works great for me.

I purchased this item in January and found quickly that I had to keep the screen locked to keep from inadvertently swiping or pressing things during normal activities. Now it seems that it is negatively registering steps or sometimes just not registering them at all. It's past 2:00 pm now and it says I have 0 steps for the day. Yesterday it told me three separate times that I met my step goal, but at the end of the day it was registered at only 20 over my goal. For what it cost, I am REALLY not happy at the moment with this purchase. And of course the return window closed in February.

I love how this watch looks, it’s slimmer than my forerunner 35 and the functions are amazing. Through the app you can chose existing workouts (complete with how to perform move) or create your own that you can then pull up on your watch and perform. I’m kinda of happy my other one died or I would have never made this great purchase!!
