I don't remember exactly, last time when we used it in a long travel, I had my laptop with me to and moved periodically all videos to hard drive. Few hours, may be, but I recorded in low 640x480 res.

After much time playing with the menus with all the other buttons too I finally somehow found the page. I changed the year and went to what I thought would be the next field (down button) and the menu disappeared and no changes were made. I changed the year and went to what I thought would be the next field (down button) and the menu disappeared and no changes were made. I screwed with it for quite some time after that and was never able to find that page again. I do not know about yours, but the battery in mine sucks raw sewage and I found that I can not find a replacement at any of the places I would expect to find it. Other than that, it is quite a camera for the price and the viddies it makes are beautiful and much, much less shakeing than expected. If you ever find how to change the date, please share the info. see less

If I plug in with USB the device is not recognized. So I pull the card and there are no problems. (PC). If you record in 720 res, it looks really good on the screen. That and you can read license plates plainly at that res.

In the menu, change motion detection off and the unit will stay on all the time till you turn it off) The battery I got will not charge to the third bar, doesn't last long and I can not find a battery anywhere to replace it. see less
