How well would this work to achieve a thrash/death metal tone?

  • Ummmm I would probably go straight to a good reviewed distortion pedal for that type of sound or than flip the switch on this one to its higher setting and crank all other nobs up too.

      I bought a bunch of inexpensive pedals to fit a color theme, so this drive pedal was selected because it's white. Turns out to be a respectable OCD-clone-ish number. It's certainly not bad. I've used it on bass, driving the input to a fuzz. Was interesting and useful.
