Has ZERO complications with Photoshop CC 2014 detecting sensitivity settings on 32, or 64-bit versions. Battery-free pen means no more flimsy pen bodies that can break easily. SUPER thin - It's just over 9mm thick - See other thoughts) Matte drawing surface means that it's considerably less "sticky" than some of the cheaper tablets on the market, so you CAN use this without a glove pretty comfortably, and it isn't a fingerprint magnet (mostly - The touch controls are gloss...really, why was that necessary?) INCREDIBLY lightweight (I'd forget I was holding it if I ever needed to.

I'm not an artist, and I suck at drawing. This tablet is a complement to 3D modelling for me, so my bar for "needs" is set quite low. I'm a practical person--a "functionalist," if you will. Anyway, there are two considerations here: 1. I like to try stuff that isn't popular, and 2. I don't like Wacom (this extends to another thing: usable screen vs size of tablet). I used the Wacom Intuos Pro in class. I don't really like the feel, but I do like the feel of this Veikk tablet. Here's why: 1. It uses the screen efficiently. There isn't a lot of extra room around it. That's good, in my opinion. Extra room bulks the tablet up. 2. It has a passive stylus. Yay. That's a huge plus because charging sucks in the middle of doing your work. 3. I wanted it simple. This is simple. I use my keyboard, mostly, for all hotkeys. It's nice to have some extra buttons, but I doubt I'll rely on them heavily. I like my keyboard too much.

It works great, the only software on my laptop is Adobe Photoshop CS6, so there was no issue. This tablet has great value for its money, I highly suggest it for artists on a budget because its very much affordable and works great on several softwares. I also highly suggest this tablet for beginners because this tablet is very easy to use and its very simple / effective.

The great thing about this tablet is they have a paper-like surface. This means that it feels very natural to use especially when coming from traditional art. A lot of low cost tablets skimp in this area and use just a glossy type screen. Some people fear the nibs wear down quickly but I have not seen any issue, also you get quite a few to spare.

The feel of the tablet is matte which seems to be the direction most tablets are going these days? My intuos is an older model so it has that glossier/slippery surface but I recently got a XP-pen and they used a more matte surface. It does not imitate a paper texture though like how some newer wacoms(?). If you like drawing on something sleeker like an ipad pro or a surface, this might be an issue for you but for me it wasn’t too big of a deal.

It’s a pretty nice tablet. I haven’t used it for very long but it’s affordable and nice to just carry around with a laptop or incase I want to use someone else’s computer to draw. I’d recommend it just based on great value for the price. It’s always nice to see more tablet developers and I’m interested in seeing how VEIKK’s tablets improve in the future. :)

I use a Mac desktop computer as my primary device. When I went to VEIKK’s website to download the driver, I found clear directions with screen shots that walked me through the process. I then connected the tablet to my computer and I was ready to go! Using the stylus, I opened Corel Painter and began flawlessly creating art right-away. Later I programmed the hot keys which made the creative process and workflow even more convenient.

There is a small con: yes, working in the dark isn't really great. This tablet wasn't really designed for that, though. Another small con: it may smudge. I guess just a little water and a soft cloth takes care of that, though. Last little thing: the tablet does feel a little uneven on the surface when pressed hard enough. I believe the reason for this is simple: it's not broken in. I find that after drawing on it for a little bit, it becomes smooth and the roughness fades. As for the build quality: the tablet itself is quite sturdy. I have no complaints as I only expected something to read my pen and throw the output on the screen and not break when I handle it.

The tablet works great with the software's I used to test it on, which was, Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Autodesk Sketchbook Pro PC Edition. It had great pen pressure, it felt like I drawing with a pencil and or pen. I tested several brush tools on each software and each worked great with no problems.

Just received this a couple days ago, and I am very much enjoying it. The dial works so well for quick access changes such as zooming in and out on the canvas as well as brush zooming. It's incredibly easy to use and would suit any new digital artist looking for a good graphics tablet that's cheap. Also, the glove and pen holder that come with it are a nice touch (however, if you have small hands like myself, the glove will be quite large for you).
