The product when I first received it seemed a little flimsy and I was worried it would not be sturdy enough to withstand the high winds in my area but once filled with dirt it was fine. No assembly was required, just stretch the metal frame and insert planter boxes. Planter boxes need holes drilled but the area's where you do that are clearly marked, Still you will need a drill or sharp knife to do the holes properly. Only thing is that the clearance between buckets is a little low, but I removed the 2nd form the top planter and now I have big bushes of Basil growing with plenty of room to grow.
