I've been working from home and now have two laptops hooked up to one monitor to save some space on my desk. I don't typically use both laptops at the same time, but I needed something that was easier to use than unplugging the HDMI cable from the back of the monitor to plug in the other laptop. This switch is so helpful and easily lets me know which laptop I'm using by the indicator light. I haven't had any problems with it since I installed it. It's worked great!

Bought this so I don't have to have a cable hanging from the TV to my Nintendo Switch dock. Didn't want to run another cable through the wall so I bought this to share the same input as my BluRay player. Once I plugged in my cables from my devices and the output cable to my TV, It automatically switched to the active input. Some people might not like this because it lacks a remote to switch it, but it is not an inconvenience to me and works excellent. Both devices work great with the switch and it is very easy to switch between them if they are both active at the same time. Would definitely recommend.

My goal was connecting two pc's to one 1080p monitor with a simple switch. This switch did the job easily. The ports hold hdmi cables securely, with no wiggle that might cause dropout. Just enough to see indication without any annoying brightness. I would definitely buy another one of these if needed.
