This is an update on a review that I previously wrote. We no longer have any doubts about this product! My son re-charged the batteries, recalibrated, and everything is good to go! We were a bit disappointed at first; but now he has figured it out some more, and he is completely happy. Wonderful customer service....answered all of my questions and gave good advice. The rating is for 8 + years......like I said, my son is 31! He loves it!!!

Bought this for my 9 year son and he absolutely loves it! Actually my 12 year old daughter can't keep her hands off it now. It's not designed to be a fast RC car, it's really more of a drone but that's ok, that's most of the fun. Only draw back in the battery life but it helps that you get an extra battery so we can have it charged and ready to change out when one runs out. Takes a few minutes to figure it out when you first get it but then it's all fun.

This thing is flipping awesome. However, we learned how high and far this can fly today, Christmas Day. My 8 year old pinned the flight throttle back and the car/drone went up about 300 feet in the blink of an eye and about 300 feet from where he was. We recovered from his throttle excitement, but it showed that this thing is pretty powerful and exciting. "Arms up for adventure", Up. Ease into its operation...

This is a great flying machine! It is recommended for ages 8 and up because of the coordination and fine motor skills required to properly fly this thing. I am an adult, but not the most coordinated person so it took me a minute to really get a hang of it. But once I did, this thing was really enjoyable to fly. I have owned a helicopter toy before and this is somewhat easier to fly. I don't know if it's because of the design or what. I like that it comes with a bonus battery and charger so that I can fly this for a longer period of time.

Really cool drone. I'm just upset that I destroyed it with my terrible flying skills. It's my first drone so flying was new to me. It's really cool though. I love how you can drive it like a car then take off into the air. I'm thinking about buying another and being more careful. I just have to buy a separate camera to attach to it.
