Like many here, I was looking for a solution to share my keyboard and mouse between my home and work computers. At first I was looking at a Logitech bluetooth keyboard that connects to multiple devices. But I found the keyboard to be a bit pricey and lacking a number pad. But this switch is great!

I'm using this switch in conjunction with an HDMI switch and a pair of DVI to HDMI adapters to share the following between 2 older Windows 10 PCs: 1) USB wired keyboard 2) USB wired mouse 3) USB external drive (has it's own power supply) 4) Older DVI monitor The combo works great.

If you're just using the switch to switch between USB devices then it's great, but when you daisy chain a USB docking station with it you might run into problems. I emailed the seller about my issue and the seller was very responsive and extremely helpful. In the end, it did not do what I needed it to do, BUT it does do what it should do in most situations. I am leaving a 5 star review because of the fantastic customer service and the fact that I might have been pushing the design limits with my configuration.

Excellent and inexpensive and works! I used a 5 Volt phone charger to power the unit so I could attach my Saitek HOTAS as well as Keyboard and Mouse (not necessary if you just want to use it to share Keyboard & Mouse) and switch them back and forth between my gaming systems.

I have two computer and this device works as great KVM switch for my keyboard and mouse. ( NO delay or funny disconnects ) I had older 2 port KVM and after upgrade to windows 10 , it generated flood disconnects. This device solved all those problems Very stable device and I am very happy with it.

I have my work laptop and my docking station. My docking station connects my three monitors, headset, mouse, keyboard, AMD external webcam. Instead of plugging the docking station into my work laptop, I connect it to this USB splitter. Then I plug my persona PC into switch, and what do you know!!! Everything works perfectly. To switch between devices, you simply press the switch button at the back of the device

This USB switch has high build quality. It is light weighted and has modern look and feel. I connect it with my wireless mouse receiver and it has no observable lag compared to other USB switch I have, which is a big win for me. Also the 5V power supply input can be useful for devices supprting quick charge.
