For your wallet, you should consider this lens. Its a great Wide angle lens to have and it's sharp right out of the box! I take this lens with me to many places along with my Canon 50mm, and 85mm because it is so versatile. Okay here are the nerdy details: -There is a small amount of barrel distortion which you will notice if you're taking pictures that include straight lines in it There is a slight amount of vignetting and chromatic aberration, which you can fix in post, although the lens profile is not included in Lightroom Classic so you'll have to manually adjust it -this lens is also a whopping 791 grams (by itself), for it's hefty weight it does feel more premium than other prime lenses in this price, sporting a semi-glossy plastic minus the glass (which is also good too) -The Manual focusing ring is massive and has a wide rotation area to get near precise focus -Autofocus speed is not the best but it does keep up with slow-medium moving subjects Anyway I would recommend this lens to someone who wants a good quality 35mm lens without opening your wallet an extra couple hundred dollars, or to an amateur with a low-midrange budget for gear.

I own a number of products by this company. Never complained always praised the quality. This is a solid product. You take in your hands and you know you own quality. Quality of imaging is on the same level as competitors that cost 2, 3 times. As a pro photographer, this would add more magic to my shots and this lens would make a lot of people happy with incredible images that this glass produces. For anyone who is thinking about a 35mm prime lens. Do not think twice. Just get it and love it!
