Is simillar than the umbrella type but you have to take out the rods from the center, is not fast but it works well. One thing since is white in the inside you lose a lot of flash power be sure to have plenty of power if planing on using it outdoors

It's a Bowens Mount. I ordered this modifier and when i received it, the reflector plate is held on with an indexed pole. In order to get the plate tight enough not to spin out of the way of the tube, it was rotated a full 1/8 turn and did not cover the flashtube.

Yes it does. It all white even the reflector dish. Work great but chew a lot of power since all it's white.

eetz purty guhd. Another reviewer is right about the reflector plate moving around. My solution to this problem is to use some lock tight on the threads, that way when you screw the plate down it stays in place. I don't know why they didn't just make it a non removable plate since the whole thing folds down around it allowing to fit perfectly in the case with out the need to remove the reflector plate. Speaking of the case it is actually really good. Feels well made and has good zippers. You can just fold down the whole reflector with the plate attached and the whole shebang fits perfectly inside the case. The quality of light is what you would expect from a beauty dish. I'm surprised it's only $50. This is a great deal. I also love that it's not heavy so you can use really well on lighter duty light stands.
