No, it does not have a dimmer. I wish they had that option but the bulb intensity isn't too high. It is soothing for the eyes in a dark room !

Like these night lights, but had to replace the light bulb they come with, with a lower-wattage one. Has too much of a glare for my liking. So I put a pink 4 watt in, which is much better. I don't know if the lower wattage bulb will affect the salt giving off positive energy & cleaning the air (what they're known for), but that's what I chose to do :) Other than that, I really like them.

We keep this in our bathroom and it works great! Nice glow and bright enough at night to see but not too bright to “wake” you up. Some reviewers mentioned that you shouldn’t keep it in the bathroom because of moisture. Our bathroom has a fan and can still get steamy but the nightlight has not suffered because of that. I like that it’s a simple design and it fits securely into the socket. Also you can rotate it to sit pointing up or down. I also like that you can turn it off and on, I need complete darkness when I sleep and hate constantly beeming nightlights.

I love the look of this night light. It looks really nice. I already own a larger salt lamp but thought the night light was a cool idea so just had to have one. You just plug it into the wall, turn it on before bed, and turn it off in the morning. I think it would be nice to find one of those plug in timers so it will turn on and off on its own. I'll have to check into that.

This is a great looking nightlight. The natural look of the salt shade is really cool. The salt will absorb moisture out of the air so you do have to be careful where this is located. If you don't have it on all the time you probably don't want it in the bathroom. It may absorb too much moisture. I have mine in the hall way and during the day I can feel a little moisture on the salt. When I turn it on the lamp heats it up enough that the water evaporates off and that I think is where the ions come from. I am very happy with the light.

A great quality night light. This night light puts out a beautiful, calming glow. The unit is made of very durable plastic, and the plug-in has a plastic post that slides into the outlet's ground to give this heavy little light more support. The Himalayan salt stone that makes up the light shade is ground very nicely, has great color, and looks beautiful. The unit can be turned on its axis (see photos) to accommodate any outlet. Looks great with any decor.

This is a very beautiful lamp. It gives off a nice warm glow that is not to bright. The salt cover is thick and looks like it will hold up well. It fits nice and snug in the wall socket. I use this at night while watching TV and using my laptop to give some background light. I have also been using while I sleep and it is the perfect amount of light and doesn't keep me awake. I love that it has a switch that you can press to swivel the base so it will stay upright in any plug. The light comes packaged securely in a small box protected in foam so it won't break during shipping or when being stored. All in all this is a very good lamp and will be getting more for other rooms in my home.

I'm very pleased with this little salt lamp night light. I kept the protective plastic wrap on it for the photos, because I plan to give it as a gift, but I wanted to share my review. First, it's packaged very nicely to prevent any damage during transit. It's the perfect size--not large and cumbersome, but big enough to light up your target area. The unit can be turned so if your three-prong outlets are upside-down, it can still be used facing upward. It gives off a soft, very warm glow and is pretty perfect. Thanks!

Dodocool seems to be a company that takes pride in its products. It comes packaged well. This is extremely important with the inclusion of the salt "lampshade" which one would expect would be somewhat fragile and prone to breaking. Mine arrived in perfect condition, surrounded in Styrofoam and the salt was further wrapped in clear plastic. The base was sturdy, with a plug that helps support the weight of the salt lampshade. It has a polarity blade, so it only goes in one way, but the base can rotate 270 degrees with the press of a button on the left side of the base (looking at the salt lamp shade with the plug opposite you) so it can be inverted if you so choose. It is a simple on/off switch on the front, so it doesn't dim or go off during daylight, but if you want a simple light this is definitely above par this fits the bill. The shade pulls off for lamp replacement (no LED). While it is not a bright light due to the diffusing effect of the salt over the bulb, it produces a pleasant pinkish toned light useful for lighting up space from total darkness or setting moods for diffused light. This seems to be a quality built product way above the cheap lights in its class, especially those you see in grocery store aisles and home improvement stores, especially in its price class. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a diffused light.
