What type of insert could I use for general turning

A

  • I’d recommend getting a tool holder meant for general turning, but you may be able to use a tnmg321 in a pinch. I haven’t tried it so I can’t say for sure.

      I needed a new AXA 1/2” shank threading tool and ordered one of these. It dropped right in and after setup was threading my 1.5” 12L14 steel rod like a champ. Good price & quality.
