I installed these lights on my bunk, they are very cool! I set it up and the mode control button is right next to my bedside table, so I can turn it off while I sleep. The light is very bright! They definitely work for backlit TV or computer monitor configurations. You can choose the mode of the light very well, my only wish is that the button is more tactile (you have to click, there is not much reaction), but this is a very small detail. If you want to control the LED strips from other devices, you can disconnect them from the button connector. I'm not sure if there is a way to tie other LED strips together, because if you want to decorate everything around the bed, the length of 1 meter is not very long. However, it must be long enough behind the TV. Generally speaking, a small and enjoyable product, it is impressive.

This is a rewarding project right away! From the packaging to the connection, the lighting is a few minutes. I like the entire length of the adhesive to keep it in place. I did not use it because I was about to move and I did not want to waste it. It will be attached to my new house. PS: I have to turn on the TV to work, they say it will change my TV type.

Got mine the other day along with a 5m RGB LED strip. Had it working pretty quickly and to be honest I found the instructions fairly good compared to some Chinese translations I have had in the past. I don't have Alexa or Google so no idea how good the integration is. The mobile app ( Android ) is really functionally rich and seems to work well so far as I have tried it out. Overall I am amazed at how good the controller/app are for the price. I would definitely recommend from my first day with the items. Steve

Only giving 4 stars because it’s only the first day. The instructions were a little unclear and I had to figure it out. For someone with no technical knowledge I can see why they couldn’t get it to work. I’ll give more stars if they last longer than a few months, and after I order more and hook up controllers to the rest of the lights in the house. I’ve has bad experiences with premade rgb controllers in the past.

Despite very poor instructions, (Chinese to English translation ), the actual devices seem vey nice. Very small, compact, and worked with my LED strip/tape lights right off (I have installed other wifi switches, so I was familiar with the process). However, the primary reason I bought these was for Echo/Alexa integration, and the MagicHome Skill for Alexa DOES NOT support anything other than power on/off and brightness. In other words, no color changing capability! This should be clearly called out on the site. “Instructions” claim this is a future skill, but now I am stuck with LED controllers that do not do what was promised. Update 19Jan18: You can verbally command Alexa to change the colors and this works! However, the Alexa Smart Home app only allows on/off and brightness. Based on this working via voice, I’m updating my # of stars from 2 to 4.
