Does it come with glue and varnishes?

A

  • No, watch for factory defects in the wood. I had a glue spot on mine that cannot be fixed.

Does it come with oils and varnishes to finish?

A

  • No it does not but I purchased it as a model for a beginning violin maker and it does the trick. Cheaply made but not terrible quality. Expect to get what you paid for.

      Nice kit---very nice for a beginner luthier...small, simple construction. Material was top grade quality for the price.Still building -shipping was reasonable

      This was a great kit. It had It's challenges but turned out really nice. I enjoyed it so much, I bought another kit that I will build and give as a gift when finished. Will be buying different kits in the future
