Stay AWAY from this. Its not accurate by any means. I charge brand new batteries to the full, and it shows 60% charge. My HiTech meter shows 100% and a friend at the field has a Futaba meter that also shows 100%. I tossed this in the garbage (lesson learned)

No. Unless the battery has a compatible balancing lead (I've never seen one on a lead acid battery).

If you have a JST-XH balance plug already wired to each cell in your battery, then yes it should work, if not, no.

this unit gives both battery capacity and cell voltage level,the 4.190,cell voltage is at full charge for a 3.7v battery

I just connect the balance charge cable from my LiPo batteries to the checkers pins to check the battery. You can slide the connector from the battery onto the pins. LiPos are the only battery I have used with this battery checker. I have not used them with nicad or nimh batteries.

You might need something like the Traxxas 2938 adaptor. Hope this helps.

You will need to make your own adapter like I did. It only accepts the small connectors that you would find on a servo. The hole resembles a receiver with 3 pins.

Handy to check my flight batteries before flight. Checks my Lipo packs multiple ways, but I like the percent of remaining charge feature after a flight. I can also check my NiCad receiver battery on my Glow engine planes. No cables needed, just use what is on the battery packs. Easy to use. I have 3. One for use in my shop, one in my flight box, and one, just because. Accurate. It matches my charger's readings.

Very nice lipo battery tester. The only thing I really dislike is how loud the beeping is and I haven't found a way to disable it. Looks and feels a lot better than the cheaper testers that only give voltage. Again, the beeping is my only problem with it. I even took it apart but there was no way to disable the speaker without tearing up the board.

I use this product for many lipo batteries and it seems to be very accurate as far as I can tell. AS far as durability, its electrical and plastic, so probably not all that durable. It is rugged enough for its intended purpose and a bit more. Honestly you can't beat the price either. Shipping was slow, about a month.

I have only just gotten it and started to use it. Fairly straight forward.. the manual is in the package as the display background for the retail packaging. It is not real clear on the pin inputs.. and if you follow the markings on the case you can go wrong. It looks like Ground is the 3rd pin from the right.. it's not. It is the First pin on the right. The markings on the case should be spaced out better to match over the pin it refers to. Beyond that it is just plug and play...
