This GSM gate opener features remote on/off switch by authorized phone free calls, which can be operated from anywhere, no distance limit, very convenient.


Features:
*850/900/1800/1900MHz quad bands, can work in the worldwide GSM networks.
*No call charges. The GSM Relay Switch answers the call from authorized number then carries out the turn ON/OFF action on the first 'ring'.
*Secure - Using caller-ID for identification, unknown callers are ignored.
*Add or remove users by SMS Text command.
*No need to provide a remote control or keys for different users.
*Up to 200 authorized phone numbers can be configured at the specified time.
*The relay action will return a SMS confirmation to the owner or authorized call in number, this function is editable by user.

I am interested in installing on a gate access for an apartment community... i note that limit is 200 numbers... can i go more with another unit?

  • I have not been able to try it out yet because apparently they make a red unit one that works with iPhone this one won’t work for me. Also you have to purchase a Sim card and probably have a monthly fee on top of that

      I'm using this cellular controller with a Mighty mule gate opener. It's perfect for the application because I can give people access and take away access remotely and they cannot share it with anyone unless they actually hand over their phone. So much better than codes to a keypad! Even better, when someone else operates the gate, I get a text message so I know when they accessed it and who accessed it.

      About 6 months ago, I purchased 3 corkscrews, 2 smaller ones and one larger. They are easy to install and work perfectly. It comes with two remotes each, so I have 6 in total. They open the gate from about 150 feet away, so if you have a large house, this is very convenient.

      I bought two for my two doors. So far so good: small but powerful motor! Nice circuit. I can test its function. After some circuit research and configuration, connect a Wi-Fi module to it. it works!

      Works As advertised. Need to pay attention to directions. Don’t change default setting which allows only authorized users to call. On that setting it uses caller ID to reject authorized users calls so no charges hit your account. It will open only for rejected calls.
