I am glad it is flat on two sides, it fits perfectly on my window sill. I wanted something that would be pretty, glass and fir up in a high window. the corner of the window shows the gutter and down spout, I wanted something pretty to block out that view. The window is a little taller than this piece and is very wide. So the window is open to view the outside except for the corner that has this glass piece. the piece if beautiful.
