With quick and easy installation, the HD extender could perfectly extend & transmit high definition video/audio/IR signals up to 50m / 165ft with 1080P ultra HD resolution over a single CAT 5e/6 Ethernet cable. It features dual HD remote & local output and all metal interfaces and shell, equipped with ESD protection, sturdy, safe and reliable.
EDID management allows and encourages source and display handshake for seamless integration. With only one cost effective Cat5e/6 cable, high definition sources with HD outputs can be connected to high definition displays with HD inputs over long distances. Deep color video, DTS-HD or Dolby TrueHD audio are supported and compatible with the extender. In addition, the extender is also equipped with bidirectional IR pass through to support remote operation from source or remote.
The extender includes two units: transmitter unit and receiver unit. The transmitter unit is used to capture the HD input with IR signals and drives the signals via one cost effective Cat5e/6 cable. The receiver unit is responsible for equalizing and recovering the transmitted HD signal and reconstructing IR control signal. The extender offers the most convenient solution for extending HD signal beyond a HD cable's reach range.
