      We only use in freshwater and so far if you make sure lid is on with no interference from wires, etc it has sealed tight with no water getting in. I didn't notice that it didn't have reverse, which is required to "self-right" it if it flips. I read a few forums where users of this and other boats just glued a piece of foam to the lid and it will right itself every time. I used a hot glue gun and what I think you would call closed cell foam, not foam rubber or what foam coolers are made of. I used a block about 1" wide, by 2-3" square. Good boat for the money, I am looking for a larger battery or maybe just a spare as it will only last about 10-15 min on full throttle, which is what my 6yr old son runs it on :).

      Ok this is great. you can jump the waves in a swimming pool. I would dry it with a hairdryer after use. Pros: speed, durability, fun Cons: there is rust on the propellor.

      Got 4 when on sale for $23.99. Pretty fast and stable for such a dinky boat that fits in the palm of your hand. Just ordered two more, again on sale. Hoping to get some guys interested in racing next year. Found the perfect protected pond. Just needs a set of buoys to to set up a course.By the way, 450mah battery packs, make these boats go faster.My orders were sent from the China warehouse to Canada, think they arrived within 15 days of ordering.I made some videos of my first 4 runs, two with each boat.

      Really impressed with this little boat. shipping was super fast and came earlier than expected, so i am really pleased with that. when i was holding it in the water to trial it, the power was immense! so i am sure it will go pretty quick when i get it out on a bigger lake. a little unsure about the charging procedure as i am not sure how long to charge it for but that is fairly minor. i got this for just under £18 in one of the flash sales, which was a bargain compared to any of the other sites that had this product on it.
