This is a medium size microphone, all black, on a small tripod that fits rather nicely on my desk. The mic slides into an adjustable mic mount on top of the tripod. It has a permanently attached USB cable, about 3ft long which is adequate for my desk. I plugged it into a USB port and it installed automatically. It has an on/off switch which seems to mute the mic, but for whatever reason the light remains on even when the switch is in the OFF position. I expected the light to be off, as another indicator to verify that the mic is not operating. I’m using a sound isolator to help minimize the room echo. Room echo seems to be an issue with any sensitive microphone, so some sound studio work needs to be done to eliminate that. It seems to be at a good price point … I have another mic that costs twice as much but sounds nearly identical.

I received this microphone from Linklike and was asked to review. My experience with external microphones is limited, however I found this one easy to set-up and use. Sound quality is good and it does not take up much space on my desk. One negative (at least for me) was that the directions enclosed were difficult to read - small print and very faint. I had to use a magnifying glass to see the print. Overall I believe this is a good product.
