I can finally connect my One Plus 3T to my Mac with HDMI. Simple, easy and super comfortable. Now I have all the contents of my phone in my Macbook. It takes me a while to decide because I doubted its effectiveness and now I regret not having done it before, since it works wonders and has an affordable price and with good finishes.

So I have a MacBook that I watch my movies in. It works fine if I am the only person watching the movie. However, when I go to my friend's house, there are 4 of us and watching it on a small screen is not the most efficient way. So I got this adapter so that we can hook up the TV to the MacBook. FUNCTIONALITY Using this adapter is rather easy. It simply plugs and plays; no driver installations were needed on either device in order for this to work. The USB-C connector feels nice and sturdy and has a bit of rubber reinforcement right where the connector meets the cable. This greatly adds the structural strength that would add to the overall life of the cable as this is usually the weakest point of a cable when bent a frequently due to use. RESOLUTION The movies we watched were mainly Full HD at 1080p. We saw no drop in resolution at any point in time during the movie. Although we did not have any 2K movies locally, we went ahead online to see how the adapter copes with 2K video. [NOTE: We had a 4K TV] At 2K, it was working as it should but when we pushed it to 4K, we did not notably see any jump in resolution being displayed. Sharpness kept at a constant. DESIGN I like the sleek white and silver color palette as it matches nicely with my MacBook. Speaking of matching, the aluminum case that this is in as well as the feel of the cable material feels almost as if it was made by Apple itself. So that's definitely a plus.

Really surprise in this USB C will work on my Samsung S8 to HDMI. Always want to buy an HDMI cord to my Samsung S8 but don't want to spend half of this cost of the price. Luckily their is always like to by the OEM to sale affordable to public and this is one of them. Now i can use to project my show to the big screen with flowless result. Quality is pretty good is like as good as the original USB C to HDMI adapter. I recommend buy this for your Samsung S8 or even to the MacBook Pro. All I know is that product is pretty durable and dependable to use.

This is pretty straightforward. I have a few Dodocool products, and they all work well. Their simple metal and white design reminds me of Apple. Pros: • 4k Resolution: No issue pushing through a 4k or 1080p resolution. If you have any trouble just double check that your HDMI cable is rated for 4k. • Compact: Any dongle is going to take up space. This one is beefy enough that I know it's well made, but plenty small to tuck away. • Extruded USB type C: The metal on the USB-C plug is seamless, and a good sign it'll last longer. • Metal: In a sea of plastic electronics, the metal finish is welcome. • Reinforced joints and a thick wire: It holds its form and doesn't easily twist. Cons: • None so far!

Great USB adapter , this comes in handy when you need to connect your laptop directly to the view and watch movies, the only downside is it did not work with my Nexus 6P and I totally understand why because the manufacturer has clearly stated that in the manual that it would not work with mobile phones, other than this I have no complaints at all, a perfect accessory for your laptop. The future is USB C!!!

This is a quality adapter and a must have accessory if you watch movies or YouTube videos. It is housed in an aluminum case about the size of a small match box. The cable is flexible, but obviously designed to last. You can tell it is highly shielded based on the cable size and the quality of the video on the HDMI monitor/TV. dodocool manufactures quality products. I have been pleased with all of my purchases bearing their name.
