This mouthpiece was a little surprising. It is not the greatest mouthpiece in the world, but for the price, you cannot beat it. I was worried it was going to be a piece of junk mouthpiece because it only cost me thirty dollars. I was wrong. It is a good mouthpiece with a good sound. I wanted a metal mouthpiece for my tenor, and I didn't want to put two to three hundred dollars into it before I was sure I would like the metal. If you are looking to try metal for the first time, or if you just want to try something new without emptying your wallet, this mouthpiece is the way to go.

It takes a little time to get used to this mouthpiece; however, it plays fairly easy. Definetly a bright mouthpiece. I'm using it with a Rico Royal 2 1/2 reed, so that makes it even brighter. - it has that classic jazz sound. The ligature fits pretty tight so you need to open it a little, but great mouthpiece for the money! Good to add to your arsenal.
