Yes. There is a parameter that once your battery voltage reaches a set voltage (you set the voltage) the charge controller quits charging. It monitors solar voltage and amps, battery voltage and load amps.

A wind charger will probably exceed 20amp output in many cases. Match the controller maximum input, in this case 20 amps at 12 volts to your wind charger output. If your windcharger puts out max 20 amps at 12 volts or about 250 Watts, it will work. Most wind chargers put out more than 250 Watts.

Well i know this product should work with what im using but the unit came in D.O.A, manual is just there to look at with some basic instructions. 3 attempts to recheck all wiring and all result in dead stare at the non working screen. Going to try again and see what happens hoping for the best lol

Bought to replace a larger solar charger that came with my solar panel array for a Catalina 25 sailboat. Mounts directly to bulkhead, is small, easy to set up and works great so far. For the price, I could buy several as backups if I was concerned about reliability. So far so good.
