is connected via USB to a HP docking station and has been installed on the following devices (all running win10 home or pro) - hp spectre x360 - surface pro 2 & 4 is a very good device for its price; works perfect with 'windows hello' using the 'STmicro' driver (cfr.[...]) one disadvantage is that you ideally have to use both hands while scanning (to hold device while swiping); a possible solution is stick it somehow to your desk

This fingerprint sensor is really excellent, I didn't think unlocking the PC would be so fast. Installation on Windows 10 is done via Windows Update and the Windows Hello configuration is very simple through Windows settings. I am very happy with this purchase, I do not regret my choice. Unlocking my 10 year old PC is now simple, and very fast, in being secure. Thanks a lot.

Very easy to install and configure,Registering fingerprints was straightforward and multiple fingerprints can be used. In addition to allowing access to a laptop this device can also be used to provide protection for sensitive files if required.it is suitable for use with Windows 7-10/2000/XP/Vista systems as I have test all of this systems,there are two installation software in the CD-ROM , especially for windows 8-10,before using the fingerprint reader,you can see the instructions inside the CD-ROM first.

Having a fingerprint reader on my phone has proven really handy for securing it without the hassle of pin codes or swipe patterns. So using my laptop seemed a step backward as I still needed to unlock it by entering a password every time. This little dongle lets me have the same fingerprint unlock functionality on my laptop from any spare USB socket.it's very safe and convienent.
