Is there a way to anchor it in the center of the birdbath - how fast does cycle out the water?

  • There's no way to ⚓ it down it has a flat bottom...it depends on how much sun it gets it will stay steady if it gets alot of sun!!!

does it include a filter lid which filters the pond water?

  • No. I was not impressed. It looks like a great idea, but it was very spiratic going high then low, then off. Even with FULL SUN it behaved this way. Good luck

I know this is really small around 6 inches, but i could still put in it a 8 foot deep pond right?

  • I don't see why not? You may want 2 or 3 since it sounds like a large pond. And you don't have to worry about the motor burning out from low water level . Enjoy!!! We love ours.

  • You'll get some gurgling, but it really needs direct sunlight.

How deep does the water need to be in order for this to work?\

  • The water in my birdbath has been down to 2" and it still worked, but you shouldn't let it run w with less.
