It is specially designed for Samsung Galaxy S4.

Adding wireless charging feature by piggybacking it on the battery of S4, it works well with any Qi-enabled charger.

The receiver can be attached to the the battery all the time, and it would not interrupt the normal use of the S4.

How to use it :
Step 1: Open the back cover of Samsung Galaxy S4;
Step 2: Stick the receiver card to the mobile phone's battery and the two protuberant touch points must touch the two recesses next to the battery;
Step 3: Close the back cover;
Step 4: Place the mobile phone onto the Qi wireless charging pad (not included).

Note: The receiver needs to work with the Qi wireless charging pad.

can i use this with my s4 if i have a protective case on my phone. my new car has wireless charging.

  • It works ok for me. It gets a little warm im not sure if the case doesnt let it cool or its just normal.

Does this come with a charging pad? Descriptuon says charger and receiver.

  • Yes, it does come with a charger. I am not too fond of the product. My reason is I have an otter box case on my phone. In order for it to charge, I have to remove the case.

  • Yes you can still use the cable. Using this is not as fast as the cable.

  • I used a small piece of tape to keep the contacts in place.

Can anyone confirm if this is using the older/thicker copper coil system or the thinner printed circuit?

  • I believe it's printed circuit but still copper contact points and it makes you're cover not really want to stay on until it gets stretched out

Does this product still have the aluminum cover which interfered with the native NFC functionality of the phone?

A

  • It does have the cover but it can be easily removed. I actually bought two of these and it interfered with my NFC but not the other phone. One I removed the front stick it works perfect just be careful when removing.

  • It will work with most (all?) wireless charging pads.
