This security tester is designed for testing the surveillance camera. The security tester can be attached to the surveillance camera in site. Additionally, it could be used as a power supply of 12V temporarily. The wrist strap design is humanized for convenient use.

Will this work on hd cameras like the telpix bx 614 wdr ? thanks

  • The telpix put out a signal in CVBS : 1.0 Vp-p Comp. 75Ω, it should be compatible with this system as long as you are using BNC, or Composite video connector

Hi, ok it works in cctv analog camera in tvl, but work in hd cameras? 720p and 1080p? hikvision for example?

  • I only use it mostly on analog cameras, awesome product All our HD cameras are IP base and it works on the Panasonic IP cameras with the analog test connection

the product does not charge the battery?

  • it is supposed to charge the battery but the unit I was sent would not power on or charge the battery. So I returned it for a refund.

I purchased this in January.... can't seem to get an image on this. I have it charged, using external power for camera, still can't get image

  • It's a cheaply built device. Mine only works when it wants to. I have to bend the wire when plugged into the camera in order to get a picture. The straps also ripped off the monitor. I wouldn't recommend buying this product. Spend a little more and get a better one. I'm not satisfied. I'd really like my money back.

      This little monitor is great! So far, any connected camera, whether using an RCA connector or a coaxial connector (including an adapter) or even a direct USB connector, will detect them and provide clear and clean images. Even after I dropped the damn thing a few times. I installed the monitor on an electric wheelchair and connected it to a very cheap spare camera. My neck doesn't turn, so I can see behind me. Going back is dangerous for our cats, dogs, grandchildren and all kinds of wild animals. The display provides 12 volts to the camera and captures its yellow video through its red RCA female connector. I am attaching a photo of the result.

      Great for adjusting a surviving camera. In the past, I had to climb the ladder and look down, look at the screen and do it again. Now I use the monitor and upload it only once. If you think the camera is not getting enough power, the boot option is fine.
