Hi Jim, Put all the dip switches in the "up" position. Then put the very first switch (#1) down. It should be "blue." Then put the dip #2 down. It should be a bit brighter blue. And then dip #7 is red. There are just two positions for red, that's #7 plu #8. I believe dip #9 is simply an on/off switch. There are other types of combinations for the dip switches which will give you other colors, strobing and mutating colors (e.g. red > orange > green > blue > violet, etc.) However if you're getting nothing, then send your light back. see less

I'd go online and Search for manual. It should work any other dmx controller.

I thought I was buying a trip light. This is something like what bands use. I gave mine to my cousin who's in a band. Don't see why it couldn't be used as a spotlight. Lots of bulbs so its bright for sure.

Sorry I'm not sure. I gave it to my cousin who is in a band for his light show. I would assume it had a 3 prong plug.

I have no idea. It wasn't what I thought I was ordering. So I wasn't very happy. I have a cousin in a rock band so I gave it to him for Christmas. Sorry I wasn't more help.

The Obey 3 and 4 are very basic controllers. The first of the 4 channels on these lights is the fade/strobe control then channels 2-4 are red, blue and green. The Obey 3 and 4 simply can not control these first channels. You'll need something like the Obey 40. see less

Yes. There are several different auto settings that will allow for strobe, slow color change, and a constant color.

I bought this dust cover a second time. I used it to cover the kayaks in my backyard so that the elements were not affected when I was "parked." The effect is very good! The first time it lasted 2 years, then it weakened and resisted, and obtained a small crack, which led to the largest. I tried to repair it with a duck belt, which lasted a bit. Buying a new one is better and less problematic. I hope it lasts at least 2 years;)
