It's made for pc sorry bro. (But I tried it on my Ps4 they work but not as loud and better quality as you will get on pc)

Driver is so you can edit sound from your pc. You dont need it to use them, but you can tweak the sound. I have had mine for a couple months, and they are in perfect condition with daily use. (4-5h per day) They do plug in using USB, so no need for audio jacks.

The friend I bought it for had the same issues because it no compable with Windows 8 ( the solfware) he go it to work for vioce chat but he fould it odd that the game would not come though the headset.

You have to change the settings with the sound drivers... Go into control panel/sound there you will have to make the usb driver default... I had to deactivate all my sound drivers for it to work nd then just re-enable them when I was done using the headset
