These crampons worked great for a recent climb up Mt Adams in Washington State. The bindings are sturdy and easy to apply. The rivets that hold the grey flexible material are very tight and the material stays pliable when very cold. I was concerned using hiking boots and not mountaineering boots but I climbed in these from 2400 meters to around 3700 meters and back over firm late season snow that was mostly moguls, and no problems. And coming down I plunge stepped and really gave these crampons a workout. They held up great.
