So far, I am thoroughly impressed with this stove. It is a little heavy, but it is remarkably solid. It's a tiny bit tedious to put the stove together, but by no means difficult. The biggest problem is balancing the fire grate and ash pan while putting on the front plate. The construction is seriously heavy duty. There's no instruction manual for it, but I'm not sure that is a bad thing. Generally, to burn wood/twigs, you will assemble the whole stove with the ash pan in the bottom slot and the fire grate in the slot above. If you want to burn solid fuel tablets or gelled alcohol, you would put the ash pan in the topmost slot, sitting on the bottom of the feeding hole. If you want to use an alcohol burner, I would recommend putting the ash pan in the middle slot and leaving off the front plate. If you are using a pot or cup that doesn't require the trivets, you can use one or both trivets in the front slots to make the stove more solid. Pros: Solid Easy-ish to assemble Easy to disassemble versatile Cons: heavy have to assemble pieces All in all, this is a great little stove for an amazing price. Unfortunately, the price dropped the day after I bought mine. :( Such is life. I do wish I could buy extra trivets for this stove.
