Soft material and heat up pretty quick, after 2 minutes very warm on all settings. I order size L but too small for Medium in US. My wife likes it anyway and she is in between XS and S. I ordered again for 2XL and it fits me perfectly..by the way I am in between M and L..so watch your size before ordering. It is a good little jacket for outdoor activity.
