Took a little to catch on to the adjusting different levels but figured it out within a few minutes of using, next since because the mannequin head I'am already using don't fit I would recommend > GEX-Canvas-Manequin-Display-Styling B00W1BT1GU and Diane-T-pins-long-silver B0048L3JPU since those all go together perfectly. Again mainly you need to be-careful with the mainequin head attaching at the bottom of it, because sizes are not the same for each head you purchase; otherwise works with no stiffness nor neither rusty - moves freely when first tried/rotated easily and each clamp - clamped strong would say it's ok to buy. Pros: Very sturdy. Cons: Didn't fit my already owned mainequin head. Ordering very simple shipping fast and accurate tracking. Comes Folded down in a bag inside a small box packed inside a much larger box with no instructions. Very useful tool however a standard foam head is just a bit big for the handle so it doesn't exactly stay where you position it. (Regular Sally's counter wig stand fits the foam head but this has its on rod to set the head on which is much smaller than the foam heads opening) Hopefully it will fit better with a canvas block head
